From Figma to Framer Web Design
Web design has always blended creativity, strategy, and technical skill. My workflow evolved from traditional design tools to modern no-code platforms, changing how I approach building websites. Starting with Figma allowed me to create wireframes, prototypes, and UI layouts efficiently while collaborating in real time with clients and team members.
While Figma excels at visual design, it lacks the ability to deliver live, interactive websites. The gap between design and development required handoffs that often slowed project timelines. This challenge led me to explore Framer, a platform that bridges design and development seamlessly while offering tools to create dynamic, responsive web experiences.
Discovering Framer: Bridging Design and Development
Framer enables designers to turn static Figma designs into live websites without heavy coding. Its intuitive drag-and-drop interface, combined with responsive layouts and animation tools, allows for fully functional, interactive websites directly from prototypes. Designers can experiment with motion design, dynamic layouts, and micro-interactions to create immersive user experiences.
Migrating designs from Figma to Framer involved exporting assets like typography, colors, and icons, then enhancing layouts with smart components, animations, and responsiveness. This process emphasized the importance of design consistency, reusable elements, and scalable layouts, ensuring websites remain visually appealing and adaptable across devices.
Enhancing User Experience and SEO Optimization
